At Plessey Bowls Club in Cowes, Isle of Wight, community, competition, and giving back go hand in hand.
Throughout the summer season, their members came together to participate in our regular Bonus Ball fundraiser. Thanks to the steady support and enthusiastic participation of everyone involved week after week, they raised a fantastic sum of £560 over the summer months.
Making an Impact Locally
We are delighted to announce that the proceeds from this summer’s Bonus Ball have been donated to Isle of Wight Sporting Opportunities.
We provides invaluable support, training, and sporting activities for individuals with learning disabilities across the island. Their work empowers athletes, builds confidence, and fosters a truly inclusive sporting community. Supporting their ongoing mission is a cause very close to our hearts here at the club.
